Welcome to Christian Karate San Diego!
We are a system of Christian Martial Arts schools, studios, and programs that make their base out of churches and Christian schools in the San Diego area. We coordinate Martial Arts Programs at local churches and schools to create Christ- Centered martial arts programs.
We have been in existence since 1997 in Texas, Virginia, and California. Since 2004 we have made our main home here in San Diego and have started programs all over San Diego County. Including Heritage Christian Schools East County and Clairmont locations.
The CEO of The Christian Martial Arts System, 6th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor Eric E. Maggio, M.Div. is an Ordained Christian Minister who holds a Masters Degree from Truett Theological Seminary, and currently volunteers as the Senior Pastor at Church at the Beach IB. He has been teaching karate for over 25 years at churches and schools, and was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2016.
